Gettin Green 2 - Shirts

Did some artsy stuff with my mom and sis this weekend.  We made our own St Patty's day shirts.  If interested $10 used shirt from thrift store; $20 new shirt.

DIY Craft Instructions: *Kid Friendly but with adult guidance and paint shirts

  1. Designed St. Pat phrases and shapes like shamrocks in my Silhouette Cameo.
  2. Put freezer paper on the cutting mat for my Silhouette Cameo and it cut them out.
  3. Punched out the letters and shapes from the freezer paper.
  4. Iron the freezer paper onto a shirt.  Make sure edges are ironed down or there will be leakage of paint.
  5. Paint with a foam brush fabric paint over the freezer paper.  Can apply multiple layers to make thicker/darker.  Can add glitter as the final layer. Can paint with paint brush over edges of shapes to make outline shapes instead of using like a stencil.
  6. Let it dry overnight and peel off the freezer paper.
